BLACK BOX

 Nolan (Mamoudou Athie) is struggling to regain his memory after surviving a horrific car accident but not so lucky for his wife. He has no recollection or connection of his daughter Ava (Amanda Christine), nor the work he used to do, where he was recognised and rewarded with awards of recognition.

Nolan tries his best to return to his former self and with the help and guidance of his friend Gary (Tosin Morohunfola), Nolan undergoes an experimental treatment that may help to regain his memory. The doctor ‘Lillian’ (Phylicia Rashad) who leads this experiment, had given Nolan the approval that he is the perfect candidate and that there is a very good chance of him regaining his memory back.

During these experimental procedures, Nolan discovers that there is a sinister character, that may threaten to take control of his memory and body. Nolan soon finds himself in a situation, where time is running out, to fight for what is rightfully his!

I actually loved this movie. Very different, unpredictable and interesting, right to the very end – I honestly had no idea how it was going to end – but the ending was appropriate and satisfying. I can see a sequel to this movie, well… I hope so?
